There have been a lot of social business posts written this year, haven’t there? It can become confusing, to say the least.
Is social business the same thing as social selling? Is social selling really a form of sales? Is social selling simply marketing, repackaged on a social media platform? Is social anything a complete waste of time?
For those of you who have gotten to know me, you know I’m trained as a scientist. That means I’m skeptical. That means I look at a company’s cultural context and put a solution or an observation into that context. That means I validate what I observe. That means I ask a lot of questions.
Well, does it make sense or not?
